“I can still remember like it was yesterday, when a friend in high school (1997, economy class) told me: ‘hey you have to check this out, take this cassette’. It was “Sideburner” and since the first listen, Adhesive has always been a kinda special band for me.
Also I can remember perfectly when in 2013 I got the message from them confirming we were allowed to reissue “Sideburner” for the first time on vinyl. It was my first reissue with the label and I couldn’t be more shocked and amazed for being able to put out such an iconic album for me.
Then it came “From Left To Right” reissue but we missed “We Got The Beat” for financial issues at that time.
Reissueing now their final album and putting out this tshirt design is like closing a big circle, a 24 year one.
Adhesive were from Sweden and were active from 1994 to 2002, releasing 3 full albums and a bunch of eps, splits…they reunited and toured massively during 2017 and 2018 and all the earnings from those shows were donated to social justice organizations. One more reason to still see them as that special band…
